Blackbird At Kirkland is a bespoke glamping pod set in the countryside of Dumfries and Galloway, just 0. 5 miles outside the village of Haugh of Urr and 5 miles from Castle Douglas in Southern Scotland. Designed with intimacy in mind, this single-level pod opens through large floor-to-ceiling patio doors into a completely open-plan living space that feels surprisingly spacious.
The setting is peaceful farmland countryside. Step outside into the enclosed garden and you get open farmland views. On clear nights, Galloway Forest Park is one of the darkest sky areas in the UK over 7,000 stars and planets visible to the naked eye.

The pod sleeps 2 guests in one open-plan bedroom area with a king-size bed. There is a compact kitchen with a 2-ring hob, air fryer and Bosch Tassimo coffee machine. A separate shower room with WC completes the layout.
