We loved the cosy cottage - really well stocked and spotless. The secure garden was a big plus, especially since we have small dogsand they could roam freely. We had a fantastic time at Quercus! The cottage is such a charming spot, tucked away in peaceful rural surroundings, making it perfect for a quiet getaway. Tony and Nicola really thought of everything you might need, which was a lovely touch. The area is stunning, with plenty of lovely walks and easy drives to Edinburgh or Glasgow. We didn't bring our dog, but there's loads nearby for dogless days. Biggar's a cute townand places like New Lanark and Roslin Chapel are well worth a visit. Would definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay! The cottage felt really snug, especially with the log burner and plenty of wood. The welcome hamper was a nice touchand all the cooking gear you could need was there. The huge enclosed garden and field right outside were perfect for our staffy to run around freely. Totally private, which was great for our reactive dog. We're definitely coming back next year! Just a tip-bring a torch for evening dog walks, ours loved chasing wildlife. Highly recommend!

This cosy little cabin tucked away in a peaceful spot was just what we needed. The private setting meant total tranquilityand our Jack Russells, Bella and Buddy, loved having a secure garden to play in freely. Tony and Nicola were lovely; we had a couple of chats while walking their dog. Everything was thought of, making it a perfect getaway. We'll definitely be back someday - highly recommend!

We found this place to be quite a hidden treasure. The owners are genuinely friendly and make you feel right at homeand they're really good with dogs - not just tolerating them. The garden is secure, so you can relax without worries. It's tucked away from busy spots, ideal for dogs that get overwhelmed in crowds. Plus, the adjoining secure field means you could easily stay a week and never need to leave. Absolutely perfect for us!
