The Old Kipper Hoose Reviews

Claire
We're just back from a 5 night stay at The Old Kipper Hoose. ..if we could've stayed we would have! The house itself is beautiful, what Paul and Ashley have created is luxury accommodation to the highest standard. For a family of 5 with 3 children it had ample space for us all, the kitchen was set up with everything you could need and having a washing machine and dryer we're an added bonus. The hot tub was used daily and definitely a highlight for the kids. The views and location of the property are fantastic, just a short walk from the rock pools and harbor where it was a delight to see so many families enjoying themselves. We spoke to Paul and Ashley a few times during our stay, Ashley has a lovely gift shop just over the road and Paul was renovating another property which I'm sure will be just as beautiful, they were so welcoming and checked in to see if there was anything we needed.

Very impressive house everything you could need and more
Just back from a fabulous 5 nights at the Old Kipper House. It was the most beautiful home, with everything you could possibly need. Decoration was Beautiful. Could not fault anything about it. The view's were fab & the hottub was a welcoming bonus. We saw Dolphins on our first day, which was great. Went a few walks along the beach, came back and we sat up stairs at the roof top table, watching the fishing boats going in and out. Paul & Ashley were fabulous hosts. Met & spoke to a few people who were all lovely. Many thanks again we had a ball
Best appointed accommodation we have ever stayed in and in a perfect location with the added bonus of a hot tub! The owners were very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

We were blown away by the property, absolutely beautiful and finished to perfection, equipped with everything you could need for a lovely break away. We had the most lovely time, complete with lovely views and local walks. The owners were friendly and welcoming, as was everyone we came across in and around the town! Thank you so much!
Stephanie
Stunning holiday home. The owners thought of everything! Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need for meals and entertaining including air fryer and slow cooker. Washing and drying facilities were so handy so we didn't have to take dirty washing home. Beds were super comfortable and the living area was massive with a huge smart tv. Decorated to a high standard too. Loved the fishing theme throughout the house. Our favourite evening in the house we played sardines and there were plenty of nooks and crannies to hide in! Bath tub is huge! Hot tub was a big hit and great to unwind after a day of walking and exploring. The area is so pretty and picturesque. Stunning walk along the beach into Crovie pronounced crivee by the locals. It was like being abroad. Highly recommend the fish and chip van on a Thursday night at up the hill too. All in all an amazing stay and we will definitely return. Thank you so much!

We stayed on family break and had great time very good location the accommodation is outstanding, the locals are very welcoming and very friendly, well worth visiting the pub for quiz and food, the hosts was brilliant Paul & Ashley will help you with anything Paul is a call away or you can go into the gift shop and see Ashley she told us all the local information, places to visit for everything we wanted to do during our break and great value for money Thanks
Fantastic property in a gem of a location. The house is very comfortable and all facilities are to a very high standard. Wonderful hosts and very responsive. The hot tub and outdoor spaces are wonderful to take in the amazing views of the area. Great base for exploring this stunning coast line. Such a relaxing time here.
Excellent property, really comfortable and warm. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can recommend the Old Kipper Hoose for a great holiday
Steven
Everything that was needed was there, the property was sparkling inside and out, handy walks to crovie and a beach straight from the door for the dog. We couldn't work out how to get water hot enough for tea from the quooker tap so a kettle would have been good. Hot tub was great.we would love to return
Beautiful home remodeled to the highest level, easily one of the best places and views youll find in the Gardenstown area. It has incredible scenic views of Crovie from both the kitchen and hot tub the will take your breath away. The location is ideal, within walking distance of the coffee shop, gift stores, Crovie, and the Wee Shop. The host is incredibly friendly and thoughtful, surprising us with local goodies, firewood, and even dropping off a bag of Christmas decorations to help us feel at home during the holiday season. This was truly a 10 out of 10 stay, I cant recommend this place, host and this special village enough.
