Newton Hall Reviews

A great location for our walking group holiday. Plenty of Munros within 3040 minute drive. Samphire is a great seafood restaurant just a 5 minute walk. Great big bedrooms with great views across the Loch that can be configured between doubles and twins.

Exactly as described and expected. Lovely ideal home and location for our family to celebrate a milestone birthday
Overall we were pleased with the accommodation as our group consisted of only 14 adults. Any more and the public rooms are tight. The bedrooms are excellent, although at the time of our visit in December, a wee bit cold because of faulty radiators. After complaining, electric radiators were delivered.
I recently spent a few days with family celebrating my 60th birthday and we had a great time. The property was beautiful and spacious with enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate us all.I had regular contact with management via email and phone prior to my booking making the process straightforward. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time spent together as a family and would not hesitate to recommend this property. Many thanks
Gillian
Need a bit of TLC especially in the bedroom at back door. carpets need attention hole in wood in back door bedroom window in bathroom. not the cleanest. lots of cobwebs, found about 3 pairs of underwear from previous guests in different rooms. my bed sheet was all stained.
Our group had a lovely stay at Newton Hall. It's a fascinating historic building in a wonderful setting. We were extremely impressed with the service we received, answering calls even in the evening, and sending someone around the next day to help us. One of our party left something behind and it was found and posted to her the next day. Thank you for your care.
This house is spacious and in a beautiful location in a pretty small town. It could be fabulous but parts are tired and need upgrading, the kitchen is badly designed and not really adequate for large parties we were 11 but they take up to 18, and there were issues with nonfunctioning bulbs in several rooms. And there was only one set of keys! This might have been just about okay at a pinch if the back door could close but the only way to close it was to lock it. Horribly inconvenient, and ridiculous for large parties. That said, the people who managed the property were pleasant, although we never did get extra keys.....
Lovely spacious property that is located very close to town.
Newton Hall was the perfect base for our family get together. Beautifully clean, very comfortable and incredibly well equipped, especially the kitchen lots of large pots & pans, cutlery, crockery and sharp knives. Plenty of room to spread out, as well as space for us all to be together when we wanted, especially round the huge dining table. The bedrooms are beautiful and each with it's own quirkiness. Very comfortable beds. No one felt shortchanged with their room. Our group ranged from age 2 to 83, some with mobility issues but able to go up the short flight of stairs to the living areas, and this couldn't have been any better for us. The owner was attentive but not intrusive and responded quickly to any queries during our stay. Thank you for providing this gem of a holiday home in this beautiful part of the country.
Excellent, thank you for allowing us to hire your lovely home. We hired for my wife's 40th birthday celebrations and it was just what we were looking for
Absolute stunning views, property was fabulous, spacious and clean. Ticked every box for us party of 15 would highly recommend, nice touch from host who left us a welcome gift. Newton Hall we will be back.
Had a great stay at Newton Hall with family and friends. Lovely rooms with great views. A home from home and the hot tub was great. We enjoyed the walks around Inveraray every day too. Also loved reading the history of this lovely house. We will be back
This was a family break ages from 379, property has large comfortable ensuite bedrooms & well fitted kitchen, within short walking distance are supermarket, pubs, restaurants, & visit to Inveraray jail is a must do.
