Newton Hall Reviews

Debbie
Newton Hall was the perfect base for our family get together. Beautifully clean, very comfortable and incredibly well equipped, especially the kitchen lots of large pots & pans, cutlery, crockery and sharp knives. Plenty of room to spread out, as well as space for us all to be together when we wanted, especially round the huge dining table. The bedrooms are beautiful and each with it's own quirkiness. Very comfortable beds. No one felt shortchanged with their room. Our group ranged from age 2 to 83, some with mobility issues but able to go up the short flight of stairs to the living areas, and this couldn't have been any better for us. The owner was attentive but not intrusive and responded quickly to any queries during our stay. Thank you for providing this gem of a holiday home in this beautiful part of the country.
Excellent, thank you for allowing us to hire your lovely home. We hired for my wife's 40th birthday celebrations and it was just what we were looking for
Very well suited to a mix of generations in a family. Warm in the rooms. Very clean and tidy. Nice to have darts and table football too. Coop is very close and convenient for last minute items. Very good email communication from Company. Lovely views.Good parking at back and in carpark nearby. Lochfacing bedrooms get noise from road, lightsleepers be aware. Main door didnt stay closedkeys were needed so small point if anyone went out. Shame 4pm check in 10am check out,as we felt it rushed things a bit,but this may be standard times everywhere? All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Wonderful property in fabulous location. Plenty of space for us all. Especially lovedI' the smaller sitting room and hot tub. I was there to celebrate my 50th with family and friends and I'd love to come back for my 60th!!
We enjoyed, staying at Newton Hall. Little issues were solved quickly Barbecue, missing pan, the rest was just good! Email contct was very fast, telephone hotline did not work at all. Place is sufficient for a group like us 14 to 15 people, a bigger group could see some issues a the dining table 18 will be a little difficult
Excellent property and location!
Shalina
Absolutely fantastic holiday stay for an extended family of 10 adults, 8 children and 2 dogs! Perfect location for exploring, and the house itself was ideal for a big group gathering.
Firstly Newton Hall is in a fabulous location. The view is simply stunning and a short walk to all the Town's facilities. The house was simply amazing and so comfortable. Everything was spotless and completely to our satisfaction. We were a large party 10 adults and 3 kids and everyone has said we want to come back again.
Awesome property, had a great time, everything perfect, great communication from sykes and the owners. Will defo book again! Really, really happy with it.
A great house for our group a mixture of ages from 286 years to celebrate a special family birthday. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Good communication from both the owner and the cleaning team. Great views of the loch from the front bedrooms and the window seats downstairs. Would recommend.
We had a fantastic break for 4 nights at Newton Hall in the Easter holidays. The owner was extremely helpful and courteous, calling us before the stay to make sure we had all the details we needed, run us through what the property offered, check out whether we had any specific requirements, and also give us info about the team they have available to help out during our stay although we didn't need to call them everything was fine!. The rooms were clean, relaxing and comfortable, and the views from the front of this property are spectacular we hadn't clocked from the photos that the arched windows at the front have window seat cushions, and watching the sunrise over Loch Fyne with a morning coffee was magical. We also didn't realise quite how convenient it was going to be for local amenities there's a wellstocked CoOp literally 2 minutes walk from the back door, and it's only a short distance further to the George pub in the centre of Inveraray which serves a great menu of both good food and malt whiskies. We also had no problem organising a supermarket grocery delivery to here for the first night when we arrived. There's heaps of good walking nearby even if you're not an experienced mountaineer. We did a walk through the town and up to the watchtower in the old hill fort above Inveraray castle, which is a good, wellsigned path to do with the kids it's a fairly modest 220m or so up, but still gives you fantastic views over the loch and mountains from the top. Oh, and of course, the kids loved spending time with us in the hot tub! We only had a few nights when we could stay this time, but we really hope we get a chance to visit again in the future.

We will definitely recommend it to everyone. Our family included the youngest at 10 and the oldest at 79 and everyone enjoyed our stay there. We will definitely be back.
