About The Distillers Cottage

The Distillers Cottage sits at the end of a private track on a working cattle and sheep farm in Forth, near Carluke in Glasgow and Clyde Valley. This lovingly restored single-level cottage features a botanical theme throughout and offers an onsite gin distillery where guests are welcome to visit. The farm location provides a perfect escape into nature.

The accommodation includes three bedrooms - one king-size, one double and one with bunk beds - sleeping six guests comfortably. A contemporary shower room with WC serves all guests. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner creates a social hub with comfortable seating, Smart TV and a cosy wood burner.

We had an amazing time at this lovely place! The location is perfect for exploring the Scottish countrysideand the hot tub was a real treat after long days out. The house is super cosy but still feels spacious, with comfy beds and a well-stocked kitchen. Waking up to the logs being replenished was a nice touch. Our hosts were fantastic-nothing was too much troubleand they were always on hand if we needed anything. Definitely a place we'd come back to!

We stayed in this lovely cottage nestled in the countrysideand honestly, it was just what we needed for some peace and quiet. The scenery was beautifuland the hot tub was a real treat after long walks through the muddy fields. The best part, though, was Nala the cat, who visited us every day - such a lovely touch! The nearby village of Forth had a couple of shops, but it's a bit of a trek through the fields. Day trips were at least half an hour away on some pretty rough roads, but that's part of the charm. Would definitely recommend!
