Wonderful holiday home like staying in a hotel lots of information and very well equipped. Enclosed garden dog proof.Utility room ideal dog room. Pitmedden woods straight opposite ideal for dog walkers Would love to return but I own 3 dogs and the owners have recently changed it to only 2.

Perfect stay with my family. We all loved the hot tub and the robes that came with the place. My only slight improvements would be a bit more cutlery in the kitchen and some larger towels. I would recommend this place to anybody!

The most beautiful and well equipped holiday home we have ever stayed in. Just perfect. I would recommend a hosepipe or something similar just to wash down really dirty muddy dog paws .. but the little drying room was ideal for wet clothes at the end of the day. I must certainly will be back. Full credit to the owners .

House was a great size, it had everything in it that you need, just bring your clothes. Owners were so accommodating, lots of great walks and the village is just a short walk, with a lot of friendly people. Theres a coop and a lovely family pub just a short distance from the house. Highly recommend visiting this property.

Lovely house. Very spacious. Great having all bedrooms ensuite. Beds comfy, plenty of pillows and blankets provided. Loved the welcome basket in kitchen. Would definitely book again

An absolutely stunning weeks stay for my daughters 21st birthday. The accommodation was beautiful, so much room, everything we could have needed and so much more. Little extra touches such as the welcome basket and the whiskey brought smiles to us all. We were a party of five grandparents, myself, my daughter 21 and my son 10 plus our furry friend everyone agrees that it has been a truly magical stay. A firm favourite now we will be back

What an incredible place to stay. The property was outstanding, fully equipped with everything you could need. Very clean and tidy and extremely comfortable. Lovely hot tub and manicured gardens. Close to a local supermarket and near to Aldi and Lidl to. Just wish it were closer to where I live so I can stay more often.

We had a fabulous weeks stay at Woodend Croft. We have holidayed as a group for a number of years this year 6 adults 1 toddler 3 dogs and this property has definitely been the one that has ticked every box. From the enclosed secure garden to each bedroom with its own ensuite, the superb living accommodation with the livingkitchendining space and separate living room, the games area in the garage topped off with the hot tub. We landed on our feet this year! Tesco delivered straight to the door and the kitchen facilities did not disappoint. Only addition would be maybe a larger pot for cooking things for big groups of hungry folks but we made it all work. We tried the local takeaways in Pitmeddan and Ellon and were most definitely not disappointed! And the local pub was great! Small friendly and well stocked! The local area had loads of activities for us to do such as woodland walks, beaches, the city and small local stores. Something for all ages! We have already recommended this to others!

This house is the best holiday home we have stayed in everything was top notch and so comfortableeverything you could possibly need and more, the pictures do not do the house justice ,we walked in and we all said wow it's beautiful it smelt fantastic too lovely welcome basket and owner friendly and is nearby if needed, would definitely book again when visiting Scotland, we had a wonderful holiday.

A lot of thought has gone into the layout and facilities in this gorgeous house. Beautiful spacious ensuite rooms. Good central location for exploring the area. Lovely forest walk with plenty loops right on the doorstep with lots of friendly people walking their dogs. Beautiful beaches not far away too. Honestly the best house we have stayed in, everyone enjoyed it. A couple of wee suggestions. The showers were fab and spacious but could do with something to hold the shower gel and shampoo in. Also a shower mat as it did get slippy. Both more hazardous to us older folk. Finally, a sunshadeparasol would have been great and kept us outside for longer spells. These additions would make it absolutely perfect. Thank you for a comfortable, enjoyable stay

Woodend Croft was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Every room was pure luxury, with plenty of room for 6 adults and our dog. We just didn't realise the house was situated on such a busy road. The garden was really private but the road noise did spoil it a little. We all enjoyed the hottub very much .

We had the most fabulous two week family holiday at Woodend Croft. The property is stunning with plenty of room for six adults to spend time together or find your own space. Steven and Fiona are fantastic hosts and went over and above to ensure our comfort especially through Storm Floris and a power outage for several hours. We would highly recommend Woodend Croft and would certainly like to return in the future.

Wow! a fantastic holiday home. Spacious bedrooms all with ensuites, tastefully decorated throughout, very comfortable beds. Downstairs is again spacious, kitchen well equipped and the welcome pack was so thoughtful. We lived in the kitchen dining sitting room, so comfortable and our dogs loved the easy access to the garden. The lounge area was so welcoming and spacious with a good range of comfortable seating, beautifully presented and we decided the dogs with us stayed in the kitchen family room. The whiskey was enjoyed very much by one of our party. Now the hot tub was wonderful, spending each day of our fortnights holiday in it, only downside was coming home and leaving such a wonderful massage experience behind, husbands a little worried one may be appearing in our gardens. To our hosts , a big thank you for such a warm welcome, In fact we all fell in love with the area and the warm reception from the local community.

This is a beautiful well finished house. All bedrooms en suite is a real bonus and all rooms very well decorated. Well equipped throughout. Lovely food basket left with essentials, local eggs and jam which was lovely! Loads of parking, Very close to Aberdeen city. Pitmedden Garden a few minutes down the road is a must, hidden gem. Meldrum House Hotel is a fabulous hotel 5 minutes away with extremely nice dinner menu at reasonable prices.

Woodend Croft was a fabulous property, with all the facilities required for a home from home holiday. It was warm, cosy and exceptionally clean. The garden was picturesque and the hot tub a huge bonus, which was maintainedcleaned by the owner during the week. We had a wonderful week here and were very sad to leave. The other bonus was being so close to the wonderful grounds opposite where you could walk and so close to the most beautiful beaches, especially as we have a dog. A definite 5 from us. Thank you.

This was the second time we've stayed at Woodend Croft. Both stays have been excellent as facilities and location have been ideal for our needs. Great location especially for families with dogs. Welcome pack was well received with the local touches. We intend returning in the near future.

The pictures really dont do the house any justice. It is stunning and so comfortable. The house is stocked full of everything you need and the attention to detail makes this the best holiday home that we have ever stayed in. We cannot wait to return

We loved absolutely everything about the property, the owners really do think of everything, we will definitely be back. The only thing I would say is a small dog could possibly fit under the fence at 1 or 2 points. Regardless of this I would still give it a 1010 and would recommend to anyone!

We had a great stay in a well maintained and equipped house. The house was very spacious. Brilliant showers. The decor was lovely. Loved the wood burner. The games room and the hot tub made sure we had plenty to do as weather wasnt the best.

THE FANTASTIC FIND While searching through holiday listings I came across this wee gem and didn't really hesitate to book it. We were travelling with an infant which was noted in the guest numbers. The owner made contact with us to see if a highchair and cot was required which was appreciated as I hadn't got around to requesting them yet. Upon arrival the house is everything as described and shown in the photos. The odd bit of furniture is different now but it's still the same high standard and well decorated property. The property has everything you'd look for. A well equipped kitchen with everything you need. The open plan space means you can comfortably spend a lot of time in this area too. The sitting area has a TV with Chromecast so you can use your usual streaming apps. There's board games and even a playstation too so even on a rainy day you won't be stuck for something to do. The whiskey provided may help too if you fancy a wee dram! 1 bedroom is situated downstairs with a double bed and en suite if anyone staying has mobility issues and perhaps can't manage the stairs. The other 3 bedrooms are upstairs. Anyone with a dog will be pleased to find an enclosed garden but note they are not allowed upstairs in the house. There's a good walk across the road too. The hot tub was as expected, clean and great for relaxing in. The property is roadside and a small office building opposite but it was quiet and nothing to bother us. Just a 10 min drive to Ellon for the essentials which has a Tesco. There's some takeaways and restaurants too with Nazma and Brewdog I can recommend. Overall a fantastic property and facilities in a good location for exploring. I'd return again if looking to stay in the area.

Amazing house for a family getaway! We only stayed 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. The house is great, it has everything you possibly could need. The welcome basket was a lovely addition, along with the board games and the dart board and pool tableair hockey table in the garage. A lovely woodland walk across the road too. We look forward to returning one day!

We love Woodend Croft. It is the ideal place to get away with the family. Just enjoyed our second visit and on returning home booked our third. Comfort and attention to detail and the added little welcome touches add to the enjoyment. Everything about Woodend Croft is about quality and comfort and it truly is an excellent base to enjoy family time and explore what the area has to offer. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Amazing house that we all enjoyed staying in. grandparents, parents, kids and dogs alike! The owners attention to detail, their responsiveness and overall friendliness were amazing. Just back from a weekend away with family celebrating a special birthday. The property was perfect. Lots of spaces for everyone, excellent outdoor area especially the hot tub. Walks nearby for the dogs. Decor beautiful and kitchen had all equipment you could need. Would definitely recommend

Excellent clean property, lovely welcome pack, friendly helpful owners, excellent base to explore the lovely local area, we have already rebooked to return later in the year. We had an excellent stay.

Just wow!! What an absolutely stunning property, we didn't want to come home . The owners certainly go above and beyond in making sure that everything you could possibly need, is provided. As with other lodges, we packed certain things other places have never had but Woodend Croft was so well equipped, we couldn't quite believe it. They had everything from an airfryer, to a slow cooker, to drying robes, to bowls and towels for our furry companions. They even had a selection of games, oh and let's not forget the fabulous welcome gift hamper. There was even some whisky for us to have a wee dram!! If that wasnt enough, the garage is set up with a mini fridge, dart board and mini poolhockey table. Even the decor is gorgeous, it's so well thought out, very inviting and relaxing. I adore that the photos in the property were of the local wildlife and the mountains. The beautiful fragrances of candles and diffusers were by a local company as well. They clearly pride themselves on showing what Scotland and Aberdeen has to offer. Can't wait to go back!!!

This property is amazing,by far the best property air bnb we have stayed in. Furnishings top quality and everything you could possibly need was provided. Nice secluded garden with outside seating and hot tub. We booked it for a family break to celebrate our golden wedding, our grandchildren loved it. Would have no hesitation about recommending to friends.Owner was nice, came and spoke before we left. Hopefully we will get back for another wee break.

Woodend Croft is a wonderful property, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is as described, we loved the space, it is large whilst also being cozy. We spent quality time together as a family, the hot tub was a favourite and we appreciated the welcome basket and the whiskey. Fiona and Steven are very responsive and made sure our stay here ran smoothly, great hosts. We took time to explore the area as Woodend Croft is in a lovely location, including visiting different beaches, parks and gardens. Pitmedden Gardens is very handy and a nice place to walk the dog. We would definitely reccommend Woodend Croft, thank you for hosting us.

This property is by far the best we have ever stayed in and we have had 2 or 3 breaks a year for many years. Everything was perfect with luxurious fittings and furnishings and perfect to relax in after a days travelling. With 2 smart tv's everyone was catered for. The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. This was a perfect relaxing holiday accommodation could not be improved on if only more were as good as this.

We had a great stay, there were a couple of minor maintenance issues which we reported to the owners, but other than that it was all good. The children enjoyed the games in the garage and the hot tub. We were impressed that the washer was already preloaded with liquid and fabric conditioner. The house was lovely and warm so we didn't use the log burner. Having the two lounges meant there was some quiet space when the children were being children. Overall a great place for a week with the family. Thank you.

We had a lovely long weekend at Woodend Croft, the welcome pack was a lovely touch and the house was warm and cosy upon our arrival. The spacious house was exactly as described and very well equipped. From warm blankets to the plastics available for use in the hot tub everything had been thought of. The garden is also fully fenced in so perfect for those bringing dogs. The hot tub just outside on the patio was spotless and big enough to cater for all our our party. The Welcome book gave us all the info we needed and we enjoyed takeaway from the Nazma Indian in Ellon which was able to be delivered, perfect! A lovely walk and cuppy at nearby Haddo House and a Sunday Lunch at the Udny Arms in Newburgh which again was superb. We will certainly return again
