Note that the road up to the property can be rough in winter sports cars are not recommended. Plenty of onsite parking is available next to the cottage.
The nearest railway station is Ballater approximately 17 miles from Downies Cottage. From Ballater a taxi or local transfer will get you to the property. Aberdeen railway station is around 58 miles away and offers more frequent connections from across Scotland and the UK.
