Newton House is a beautifully restored seven-bedroom detached period property in Methlick, Aberdeenshire, about 22 miles north of Aberdeen. Recently modernised inside while keeping its traditional character, this is a proper countryside house set in serene Aberdeenshire farmland. It sleeps up to 14 guests making it ideal for large family gatherings or multi-generational stays.
The surrounding area is genuinely spectacular. Walk through stretches of leafy Scottish forest, follow the famous Castle Trail, visit local whisky distilleries or try clay pigeon shooting. Ellon is nearby for golf. The sunny garden is peaceful and the private hot tub is perfect for evenings under the northern sky.

One ground-floor bedroom has an en-suite wet room suitable for wheelchair users. There's also access to a heated private pool in a nearby pool house (1.5km, by prior arrangement).
Tolquhoun Castle and Fyvie Castle are both around 7 miles away on the Castle Trail. Aberdeen city with shops and restaurants is 22 miles south. Local distilleries are within easy reach.
