Whitehouse Country House truly exceeded our expectations. The place is spacious but feels cosy, with stunning views that make every moment special. We had a fantastic time! The house was super cosy with plenty of spots to explore nearby. The views over the Tweed valley and the Merse are absolutely stunning. The kitchen with the Aga was surprisingly easy to operate. With all 12 of us, everyone enjoyed it, especially the birdlife around the house. Plus, there's a lovely walk down to the Tweed. Being next to a farm added a peaceful vibe. We really didn't want to leave!
Martin
Really enjoyed our time here. The house is lovely, spaciousand well-kept. Angela was such a friendly host, made us feel welcome!
Hannah
After staying in quite a few holiday rentals, this place truly felt special - like coming home, honestly! The setting is stunning and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The owners really thought of everything, making sure a family of six (including young kids) had everything they needed. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms are cleanand the kitchen is fully stocked. Plus, being close to markets and historic sites made exploring so easy. Definitely a 5-star spot for a memorable holiday! Wouldn't hesitate to return.
Emily
Our family holiday was fantastic! The kitchen was such a cosy spot for cooking and playing games. We also had a lovely meal in the dining room. The kids loved their living room with the cinema telly and comfy recliners. The hot tub was definitely a highlight-everyone had a great time together!
James
We had a lovely stay! The house is spacious, perfect for groupsand the bedrooms were comfy and spotless. It would be even better if there were tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, though. The bathrooms are quite big and stylishly decorated, which we appreciated. Angela's little touch of leaving eggs and bread in the kitchen was a nice surprise. We heard upgrades are coming, which is good since a few things could use some attention. The hot tub was a lovely addition, but it only reached 37°C, so not quite “hot” enough for us. Still, we enjoyed it!
Emma
Great spot for family gatherings, we'll definitely return soon, loved the vibe here!
