Found on the grounds of a fishing lake with stunning countryside views from most of the windows. We stayed here as the cottage is ideally located in the town of Linlithgow between the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow . The Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel are a 20 min drive and well worth visiting

We loved the location, surrounded by beautiful scenery! Linlithgow is just 5 minutes away by carand there's three big supermarkets for self-catering along with plenty of good pubs and restaurants. It was very quiet too! The accommodation was great, with a well-equipped kitchen that had a good washing machine. There's no dryer, but we could use the owner's if we needed to. The TV is basic, with a DVD player, but no streaming serviceand the internet was a bit hit and miss (not that we missed it). We had six adultsand there was plenty of room, although the living room felt a little cramped. Fortunately, the bedrooms are large.
