Rhumhor House is a secluded turreted Victorian property sitting directly beside Loch Goil in Lochgoilhead, Central Scotland. Set within both Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and Argyll Forest Park, this striking period home sleeps 9 across 5 bedrooms. The lochside position is genuinely spectacular some bedrooms look straight out over the water and the private lawned garden leads down stone steps to a pebble beach.

Loch Goil is a sea loch. You can fish it, hire kayaks on it or simply walk its shores. The surrounding national park offers serious hillwalking country. On sunny days the decked area and garden terrace are perfect for alfresco dining with the loch as your backdrop.

Inside you get a vaulted-ceiling living room with pool table and 52-inch smart TV, a drawing room with tall bay window, a conservatory and 3 wood burners. The six-person hot tub sits on the side decked area. Bedrooms include a ground floor king-size four-poster double, two upstairs doubles (one with turret window) a twin and a single. Two bathrooms serve the house.

Carrick Castle is nearby. Inveraray is roughly 16 miles away (30 minutes). Loch Lomond's shores at Luss are around 25 miles (40 minutes). The Cobbler mountain trailhead at Arrochar is approximately 20 miles (35 minutes).
